  1. Provide technical support to Data Catalog software customers, partners, prospects, and other Technical Support Engineers
  2. Become a technical expert and internal Support SME in at least one area of the product, with broad knowledge across the technology
  3. Create technical documentation and update the Data Catalog software Support knowledge base
  4. Build and utilize complex lab setups to replicate and resolve problems
  5. Maintain a groomed backlog of cases and ensure that SLAs for Response Time & Resolution Time are consistently met
  6. Provide accurate and complete support escalations and bug reports
  7. Support our Hiring, Onboarding, and Training processes by conducting technical assessments and participating in interviews, mentoring and onboarding new support engineers, and delivering training sessions in your assigned areas of expertise


  1. At least 5 years of experience as a support engineer providing enterprise software application support
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technologies, or equivalent experience supporting software components
  3. High degree of analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced environment
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to discuss complex technical topics with customers, engineers, and product managers
  5. Linux system administration skills
  6. Working knowledge of relational databases (SQL, Postgres, Oracle)
  7. Working knowledge of Web servers, such as Apache and Nginx and cluster platforms such as Hadoop and Hive
  8. Expertise in Authentication protocols (Kerberos, SAML, LDAP, SSO, SSL certificates)
  9. Experience debugging applications written in JAVA and Python

A big plus if you have experience in the following areas:

  1. REST APIs
  2. Non-relational databases (Elasticsearch, NoSQL, MongoDB, etc)
  3. Django system administration
  4. JDBC and ODBC drivers
  5. BI data sources (Tableau, Microstrategy, etc)
  6. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP

  2. Debugging using browser developer tools
  3. Proficient in CSS, HTML, and writing cross-browser compatible code.
  4. Knowledge of JavaScript MV-VM/MVC frameworks including AngularJS.
  5. Excellent project management skills.
  6. Proven experience implementing front-end and back-end JavaScript applications.
  7. Excellent communication skills.
  8. Critical thinker and good problem-solver.
